Job Description

We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our successful business and to take a primary role in shaping our future production capability. This senior management position will be responsible for developing our people, systems, and processes to ensure that we deliver the highest quality products in an efficient and timely manner. This appointment is key to our medium-term strategy and therefore you should expect a careful assessment of your career to date.


We know what we are looking for

  • You will be a respected engineer able to demonstrate a track record of success.
  • You will have gained your experience within a similar environment – low volume optical/electro-mechanical bench assembly, ideally dealing with an electronic detection type product.
  • You will be able to motivate and lead by example a team of approximately 50 technicians. Treating people the right way but continually striving to raise standards.
  • You will be a champion of quality and have knowledge of the appropriate theories/measures.
  • You will be a team player but not afraid to make difficult decisions to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • You will embrace learning and development and demonstrate this through your own academic and professional development, ideally with a degree in a relevant subject.
