Mason Vactron to merge with Foster and Freeman

We are pleased to announce that as from 1 January 2005, Mason Vactron Ltd will be incorporated into Foster and Freeman Ltd. This is being done for internal reasons and will have no material effect on customer relations.

You may already be aware that Mason Vactron is a subsidiary company of Foster and Freeman Ltd, and has been for several years. This change is designed to improve the internal efficiency of our organisation, which will subsequently serve to benefit our customers.

From 22 November, all Mason Vactron products are being offered through Foster and Freeman, although current orders will still be processed through Mason Vactron until 31 December 2004.

KEY POINTS TO NOTE ARE THAT AS OF 1 JANUARY 2005:

  • All products from the Mason Vactron range will only be available through Foster and Freeman Ltd.
  • Information on Mason Vactron’s products can be found on the Foster & Freeman website either under the ‘Fingerprints’ or ‘Forensic Light Sources’ sections.
  • All current Mason Vactron personnel will become Foster and Freeman employees, thereby ensuring all of our customers' points of contact within the company are maintained.
  • Current product liabilities, warranties and service contracts outstanding on Mason Vactron products will be transferred to and undertaken by Foster and Freeman Ltd. In addition, all service contract renewals will be contracted to Foster and Freeman Ltd.

In the next few days we shall also write to your accounts’ departments to notify them formally of these changes.

We look forward to working with you under our new corporate structure.
