Following a thorough audit of the company’s manufacturing processes, waste management, and environmental policies, Foster+Freeman has been awarded both the ISO 9001:2015 standard for Quality Management and the revised ISO 14001: 2015 standard for Environmental Management.

Revised in 2015 to reflect the changing face of manufacturing and the importance of environmental impact in today’s global economy, ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards represent internationally accepted benchmarks for efficiency and performance and demonstrate a company’s commitment to continual improvement.


ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems

The world’s most recognised quality management standard, ISO 9001 has been in use for more than 20 years with more than 1 million organisations worldwide having been indecently certified. A quality management standard, ISO 9001 is awarded to companies that ensure products consistently meet the needs of customer’s requirements and that quality is consistently improved.


ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management

ISO 14001 certification is awarded to companies and organisations who place high importance upon their environmental impact. As part of its long-term commitment to a clean environment, Foster + Freeman have previously been recognised for its policies of using local suppliers whenever possible, minimising waste through re-use and recycling, continuous improvement in the use of resources and reduction of emissions and pollution.
