  VSC4PLUS configured with a PC

The standard VSC4PLUS provides:

  • Colour imaging
  • UV induced visible fluorescence imaging
  • Infrared fluorescence imaging, 700 to 1000nm, converted to monochrome visible
  • Infrared absorption and reflectance imaging, 700 to 1000nm, converted to monochrome visible
  • Modes of illumination:
    • High intensity incident visible light, with band pass filters, for generating infrared fluorescence
    • Incident, short, medium and long wave UV with wavelength peaks at 365nm, 313nm and 254nm
    • Transmitted long wave UV
    • Incident visible and infrared light
    • Transmitted visible and infrared light
    • Co-axial light for examining retro-reflective security features
    • Angled lighting for examining holograms
    • Low level oblique lighting, for examining indented writing and embossed stamps
    • High intensity infrared light for examining anti-Stokes security features
  • Imaging filters, eleven long wavelength pass filters with thresholds at 590, 610, 630, 645, 665, 695, 715, 725, 780, 850 and 1000nm, a broad band visible pass filter, 400 - 700nm, and a UV pass filter with transmission up to 400nm.
  • Integration up to 1 second
  • Optical magnification, up to x46 on the standard 19" display screen, plus x2 digital magnification producing x92 on screen
  • Mirror reversal of displayed image (side to side)
  • Pre-programmed instrument settings for standard examination tasks (see Applications)
  • Automatic & manual iris and focus controls
  • 19" TFT colour digital display
  • 120 or 230 VAC, and 12 VDC operation for field use

Additional functions available by installing the optional Document Imaging Software Suite and running on a PC, laptop or smart terminal
