Portable superglue fuming system for scenes of crime

SUPERfume is a compact cyanoacrylate fuming system for developing latent fingerprints at scenes of crime. Designed to treat domestic rooms, offices and garages, the kit enables latent fingerprints to be detected at the scene without the need for transporting bulky items back to the laboratory or dismantling fixtures and fittings, saving time and labour. The system is also ideal for fuming vehicles.

The kit is designed as individual components that are easily transported and deployed at the scene, comprising a humidifier, two cyanoacrylate monomer evaporators, with integral dispersing fans, and an activated carbon filter unit. The powerful 2.3kW humidifier brings the humidity of a room up to 80%RH in approximately 30mins. Fuming normally takes a further 30mins, although this can be extended until optimum results are obtained. After fuming, the filter system is activated, which remove the residual cyanoacrylate vapour in 60 minutes.

The complete kit, including warning signs, cyanoacrylate monomer and cabling for operation on 230 or 120 VAC, is supplied in two carrying cases.
