A high intensity LED ring
light for forensic photography

The Crime-lite® 4×4 provides powerful
narrow band illumination at 450, 485 and 520nm for fluorescence
photography and wide band, white light emission at 400-700nm
for general photography. The ring light features 16 high-intensity
LED arrays, four for each wavelength, giving either 1 or 2
watts of radiant output per wavelength. LEDs can also be used
in combination to give greater intensity of illumination (see
table).
The Crime-lite® 4×4 is effective
in the laboratory and at the scene of crime and is available
with a range of
accessories including slot-in filters, tripod mounting facilities,
battery pack and bellows to provide light shielding.
The LED ring light is as effective as a 300W xenon or metal
halide lamp but more convenient to use as it requires no
light guide, gives even illumination with no heat and no
warm-up time.
