Third Level Security Features

Document security features such as holograms, watermarks, micro-print etc. are categorised in three levels. A third level security feature can be descibed as one that can only be visualised/authenticated by a forensic specialist using dedicated laboratory equipment such as a VSC system.

Third level features are primarily used for investigative purposes such as the forensic analysis of counterfeiting or forgery methods.
